Failing Miserably

With strength and grace, the saw went through,
The flesh cut nice and neat.
The strangled victim hung above,
Blood dripping from his feet.

At length, we see a butchered carcass,
Withered on the floor;
Up close we see a squirming maggot
That could not burn the sore.
